Why we built Spendy
We watched incredible event planners and business teams pull off massive projects, only to struggle behind the scenes with messy spreadsheets, lost receipts, and unverified M-PESA screenshots.
Traditional accounting software was too complex for the average employee, and simple expense trackers didn't integrate natively with the way Kenyan businesses actually pay for things: M-PESA.
We built Spendy to bridge that gap. A platform powerful enough for the finance team, but simple enough for the operations team on the ground.
